Please Don’t Try This In The Tournament…

To those that say Baseball and Softball are boring, we respond with the following clip… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBVpsKm-k1g

But players, PLEASE don’t try this in a game, at least until you are in the Majors…Major Leagues, that is!

Is It Work, Or Is It Really A Fun Time, Disguised As Work?

Ok, you have to admit that working the NBYL concession stand isn’t exactly what you would call “strenuous”. As a matter of fact, it can be a lot of fun. Many of us don’t get a lot of time to relax and chit-chat with our friends and neighbors with our busy schedules, and working the concession stand is a chance to hang out, hand out some drinks and hot dogs, and shoot the breeze.

So don’t think of “working” in concession, it’s actually a break from routine, a social event, a chance to meet and talk to the board members (as they are CONSTANTLY in the concession stand), and generally enjoy helping the league raise some money, and keep the players well hydrated.

So if you see the stand is undermanned, ask if they can use a hand. Could be the most fun “work” you’ve had this week!
